Want to start your kitesurfing adventure? Lo Stagnone in Sicily is the perfect place to begin: a shallow, warm lagoon, flat water, and predictable thermal winds make learning here fast and safe.

On site, you have at your disposal:

  • a shallow lagoon – in most places, the water reaches only waist depth,
  • stable, thermal winds throughout a long season,
  • safe, sheltered conditions with no waves or currents,
  • a friendly atmosphere and a supportive team of instructors.

We teach individually or in small groups. The pace of the lessons is tailored to you – with no pressure and no rushing through the program. KITE HABITS instructors guide you step by step: from your first contact with the equipment, through kite control, all the way to riding independently on the board.

You’ll learn the structure and function of the kite setup, safety rules, and the first basics of kite control on land or in shallow water. Perfect if you want to see whether this sport is for you.

4 HOURS – FIRST WATER PRACTICE

We take the theory into the water: kite control, body dragging, water kite launches, and kite power management. You start to understand the basics of kitesurfing.

8 HOURS – MOVING TO THE NEXT LEVEL

We work on your first board launches and attempts to ride upwind and downwind. You start riding short distances independently.

12 HOURS – A STRONG KITESURFER FOUNDATION

We develop your technique, stability, and the length of your upwind and downwind rides. We work on more conscious kite control, managing speed, and steering direction. This is a package after which many students feel truly confident and independent on the water.

ADVANCED TRAINING COURSES
